"Valorization of Natural Extracts: Identification and Quantification of Biomolecules by Chromatography and Assessment of Their Biological Activities"
His research centers on the sustainable valorization of natural resources and agri-food by-products, with a particular focus ,on identifying biomolecules of pharmaceutical and cosmetic relevance. He investigates aromatic and medicinal plants, as well as diverse plant-derived by-products, applying advanced chromatographic techniques (HPLC-DAD, GC-MS, LC-HRMS) for the precise characterization of bioactive compounds with therapeutic potential.
