David KOPPENAAL (Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Richland, WA)

Dave Koppenaal will give an overvew of mass spectrometry approaches applied in the field of metallomics, while Ken Marcus will present the operation principles and applications of the LS-APGD microplasma.

They are going to work with the FT MS MARSS team on the coupling of the liquid sampling-atmospheric pressure glow discharge ion source to the Orbitrap LUMOS instrument
