Surfaces and interfaces of materials. Associated analytical methods, electron spectroscopies (XPS, UPS, Auger).
Electrode materials for Li-ion and post-Li-ion batteries (sodium-ion, lithium-sulfur, all-solid-stat ). Insertion mechanisms of electrochemically active ions. Electrode/electrolyte intefaces and passivation layers (SEI)
Modelling of XPS valence spectra and theory/experience correlation.
